I love this place! Vegetarian fare, not vegan, if you desire. Sounds funny for a BBQ Restaurant, eh? They serve the best black eyed peas i have ever tasted. After a pensive, small portion, i actually went back and filled a dessert bowl with a second serving. Yes, lots of great food from salads to meat. A favorite stop along the way!

Ion know who Mike is, but he can take my money EVERYTIME!! He cook my food Fresh everyday never disappoints. Always consistent and perfectly seasoned. Be careful tho!! You might end up needing new dentures from trying to eat the fork LMAO!

Wonderfold, someone told us about it, and they said you gotta try it. The outside of the building is a little older looking, but wow, the food was soooo good. The cooks do an amazing job & the staff was great. We will be back.

Their baked potatoes with brisket is an amazing meal. It filling and taste great. On of my favorites. They are very friendly. Just all around a great place to get food.

Y’all. I went to Mike’s for the first time with a coworker after a recommendation from my grandma. We absolutely loved it. I came back the next day with my husband. The buffet is possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is fresh and seasoned with love. We loved everything we tried. Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and beans were reminiscent of a homemade meal from my mom. All of it, every bite, was amazing. Our server was phenomenal, and an absolute sweetheart. Her banter made the meals all the more enjoyable. I feel like I’m pretty picky with food, we live in Houston and have plenty of options, but I’d for sure make the drive just for the food here. If that doesn’t tell you how good it is then I don’t know what will. If you’re in town for work and need a homemade meal instead of fast food, absolutely stop here.

Always good home cooking. Buffet is full of plenty of choices. Since I don't eat enough to get my money's worth, I order off the menu.if toy do this, be prepared for a wait. But it's worth it.

Mike's has never disappointed. It's a bit of a drive from Baytown but entirely worth the commute. Their diverse selection is awesome and you can always trust that the have their daily buffet menu posted on FB. I've tried their chicken, chicken fried steaks, sausage, BBQ and it's all been pretty good. Their peach cobbler is also something to keep an eye out for. I'm sure my husband and I will return in the near future.

This was my family's first visit, and we tried the Sunday lunch buffet today. The chicken fried steak and pot roast were fantastic! The sides--especially the broccoli cheese casserole--were great too. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the macaroni and cheese. But, that's probably just me. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. And the coconut pie I ordered for dessert was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced too. I can't wait to try their barbecue the next time I pass through Dayton. Thanks for a great lunch today, Mike's!
